There was once a country mouse who lived in a field. He had a friend, a city mouse, who lived in the bustling city. One day, the country mouse invited his city friend over for a meal.He offered his guest sweet berries, peanuts, and roots to eat.

But the city mouse didn’t like the simple village food. He said to the country mouse, “Brother, to be honest, I don’t like your rustic food at all. It’s so plain and tasteless!

Come to my house, and you’ll see what real fine dining is like!” The country mouse accepted the invitation.

One day, he traveled to the city. His city friend served him almonds, dates, honey, biscuits, bread, and jam. The food was delicious.

However, they couldn’t eat in peace. A cat kept appearing, forcing the mice to run for their lives.

The city mouse’s hole was tiny and cramped too.
“What a miserable life you have, brother,” said the country mouse. “I’m going back home.

At least there, I can eat peacefully.” When he returned to his field home, the country mouse felt great joy.
Moral: True happiness lies in peace and fearlessness.
