The BIG Silly Crocodile Story

Living in the sunful nation of Abaca, Sammy was a good crocodile. Sammy ate continuously and reveled in it. Rising one morning, he grinned broadly and yelled, “Time for breakfast!”

Sammy set off to hunt for food in the Wonderful Woods. The woods abound in the sweet apples, snappy carrots, and mouthwatering oranges. However, there was a strong craving for Coke, chips, and sweets.

“I’m so hungry; I want to eat everything.” Sammy mumbled while his stomach protested. He began with an apple first. It empowered him and was fantastic. Rising somewhat taller, he exclaimed, “This is so fantastic!” He ate a carrot then, and he became even more vivid.

Still, Sammy turned to study a candy bar. Eating fast, he said, “this looks fun!” Although the food tasted good, it caused his stomach to feel uneasy. Next he tried some chips, but they simply made him sleepy and thirsty.

Sammy returned to practicing sensible eating. He delighted in an orange once he bit it, as it was so juicy and good. Later on he reasoned, “If I eat a lot, I’ll get really big!” He thus consumed far too many apples, carrots, and oranges.

Sammy grew quickly to be pretty large—like a house! “I am a great crocodile!” he yelled. Still, his legs seemed weak, and his tummy hurt. I feel sick, he said, “Oh no, I ate too much.”

Sammy settled in comfortably and began to think. Eating well was fantastic, he found; eating too much was terrible. His surplus food included oranges for the squirrels, carrots for the rabbits, and apples for the birds. He felt considerably better and went back to his regular weight, as he stated.

Sammy ate just enough good food going forward to stay robust and content. He began to slow down and relished each morsel.

Moral: Eating healthy food is good, but too much of anything can make you feel bad. Eating the right amount keeps you happy and healthy.
