The crow told himself that he would not give up the effort and would keep on searching for water. The crow tired and sat on a tree which was in the garden of a house. There he saw the pitcher on one corner.
On seeing the pitcher, the crow filled with joy and he saw a ray of hope. In the hope of getting water, he flew to the pitcher and looked inside it.
As soon as he looked up, his courage began to tremble as he saw water in the pot but the water was very low.
The crow put his beak inside the pot to drink water but the water was very low so he could not drink the water. He could not understand how to reach the water kept in the pitcher.
He tried to drink water in every way, but he failed every time. All the hope of the crow was changing in despair because he had water but could not drink it.

One by one, he took pebbles from his beak and started putting them in the pitcher.
The crow continued to pour pebbles into the pitcher until the water of the pitcher came up. The water level rose up in a short time. Now the crow could put a beak and drink water.
The crow quenched their thirst by drinking water from the pitcher. This was how his hard work paid off. He was satisfied after drinking water. After drinking the water, the crow thanked God and went away.
