Two Swan and Tortoise Story in English

This is the Two swan and tortoise story in English. Once a tortoise lived near a lake. Two swan birds who were his friends lived in the same lake.

Once the season of summer approached, Lake was getting dry. There was no enough water left for animals to drink.

Swans told the turtle that the lake is getting dry day by day. Hence we need to move from here to another lake which can fulfil our needs.

They left the place in search of a lake with enough water to save their life.

After some time, both swans came back and confirmed to the tortoise that there is a second lake nearby the forest where there is a lot of water. Real also Golden Swan..

We should go there to survive. Turtle also requested them to shift him to a new lake.

Swans accepted the tortoise’s request and decided the day to move from this lake.

A day came, They were ready to fly there with turtles according to the plan.

Swans took a stick and asked the turtle to hold the stick from his mouth in the middle. They also advised,” You shouldn’t open your mouth. Turtle understood the whole plan.

Turtles caught the middle of the stick and both swans caught both corners of the stick from their beak.

On the way, They were flying over the village. The people of the villages were watching the turtle and were very surprised.

There was a ruckus on the ground to see two birds taking the turtle with a stick.

Despite the swan’s warning, the turtle opened his mouth to talk. He said, “Why are they looking like this?” As he said that he fell down and he died.
